Teen’s lab tests find bacteria in airplane water tanks

The questions of a 13-year-old science prodigy helped launch an investigation into the safety of airplane tap water.

Water testing done by the Wall Street Journal found salmonella, fecal coliform and other bacteria, just as the Alamo boy had reported.
