At 21, Erin DePree says she doesn’t know a whole lot yet about particle physics – that’s for grad school.

DePree, of Larkin Township, has focused the past four years of her life on physics and mathematics as a Hillsdale College student. She’s won awards for her work in math and physics, is active in three honorary associations and is a physics tutor. If that’s not enough, she co-leads a Bible study with her sister and took part in a college theater production. As the calculation stands now, she’ll graduate this weekend with a 3.9 grade point average and a ranking among the top 10 in her class of 224. She plans to attend the College of William and Mary to study particle physics – the study of the inner workings of the atom. Read more…
