PA mother forms co-op to help acquire resources
After finding few resources available to parents wishing to home-school their young children, a York Township mother and home-based business owner has formed a local cooperative dedicated to filling that need.
Jean Klinedinst knew she wanted to homeschool her son, Skyler, who will turn 5 in October. One of the reasons she and her husband started their custom sign business, Jestek Customized Graphics, in 1996 was so she could home-school the children they planned to have.
She joined the York Homeschool Association last year, but found that although there were many resources for older homeschooled children, there wasn’t much available for younger students, particularly those just beginning school. Read more…
