Home schoolers advance to N. Idaho Spelling Bee
First qualifier spelling bee held in advance of regional competition
COEUR d’ALENE — Max Keister had an even chance.
There were only two sixth-graders competing for first place at the North Idaho Home Educators Association Spelling Bee Thursday night, and he was one of them. His competitor incorrectly spelled the word ‘tennis,’ and Max came through.
He then spelled ‘T-E-L-E-V-I-S-I-O-N’ and nabbed first place and a trip to the North Idaho Regional Spelling Bee on March 6. Read more…
