Home Schoolers Fight N.Y. Bureaucracy
Home-schooled students have traditionally wound up in small colleges, but that’s starting to change now that 2 million U.S. home schoolers are attracting the attention of larger universities.
‘The colleges are realizing that when they get a home-school student, based on their experience and throughout the country, these students are a good risk,’ explained Chris Klicka, senior counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA).
