Michigan Homeschool Athletic Limits Upheld

The rights of parents and their home-schooled children were not violated when the students were excluded from public school athletic teams, a state appellate court panel has decided.

The Michigan Court of Appeals opinion, released Wednesday, also said that the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s requirements for joining athletic teams apply to everyone, including home-schooled children. Read more…
