For Claire and Hannah Woods, going to school meant getting out of bed and walking downstairs to study independently from a curriculum taught by their parents. There were no schedules, no early-morning classes and no rigid grading scales.
The sisters, who grew up in Shelby County’s Highland Lakes, were home-schooled from kindergarten through 12th grade, preparing for college at the kitchen table instead of in a classroom packed with peers. Read more…
