State has no business in home schools

A well written response to an editorial. The state does not have any mandate, rights or responsibility. It is the people (parents) who are guaranteed such things.

It seems like such a reasonable request. Why shouldn’t the state mandate testing for all children, both public and home-schooled?

If my home-schooled children are on par with grade-level expectations, why would I possibly object to state-mandated testing?
