Homeschoolers may participate in Tennessee Athletic competitions

Good news.
Homeschoolers have received a major boost in status thanks to a recent change in the bylaws of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA).
Homeschooled students can now participate in regular season sports competitions against any Tennessee and out-of-state schools.
Last Decemeber, the TSSAA changed its rules which in effect allow its member schools to compete in sports events against non-member or non-accredited schools � something they were not allowed to do before.
