  1. We live in the St. Louis, MO, area, where this article appeared. Kerrie Tate and the other homeschool moms, Amanda Oliver and Mitzie Lowe, mentioned in the article are all members of our local homeschool support group, SHARE (St. Louis Homeschool Activities, Resources, and Encouragement). We consider them good friends. The article was the outgrowth of our recent Greater St. Louis Area Home Educators Expo (Mar. 30–Apr. 1). The reporter saw our advertising signs and decided to do an article on homeschooling. All of us felt that it was a very positive article.
