Hoping to shed some light on the meaning of VFD, the children choose the crow-infested village of “VFD” for their new residence. The entire draconian town acts as their guardian (it takes a village to raise a child idea), while Hector the Mexican handyman becomes their only ally. The kids put their talents to good use, and a series of poetic clues lead them closer to the Quagmire triplets. After Olaf frames the Baudelaire’s for murder, they face an angry mob, and share in a spectacular departure. Exciting and weird.
