While on a canoe/camping trip in a remote area, brothers Eric and Robert become separated. As the elder brother Eric searches for Robbie in the woods, he stumbles right in the middle of a hidden barn that’s being used for a car theft operation. The thugs running the sting kidnap him, and Robbie must use some quick thinking to get the two of them out safely.
The brothers have some conflict in their relationship, but the time spent together and the terrifying encounter with the bad guys gives them a new appreciation for one another. River Danger, though somewhat predictable, is a suitable read for reluctant readers whose interests might include outdoor adventures.
