Supermom’s Simple Guide to Healthier Eating for Beginners and Beyond

Erica Johns, homeschooling mom to 6 kids has written this e-book as a reference for those wishing to make some simple and healthy changes to their diet. Her ideas, recipes, and resources being geared towards those who wish to accomplish this through an organic and natural avenue. Without greatly burdening the wallet, she offers alternatives for beverages, improving water intake with tasty flavored water recipes, substituting sugar for more natural sweeteners, eating whole grain foods, and reducing or eliminating cow’s milk. I found some of her suggestions helpful and am anxious to try her “Supermom’s Healthy Lemonade”, but many of the recipes were not practical for our family do to our special dietary requirements (gluten-free). There are a few included recipes for each meal, but mainly the e-book is a dialogue to address specific areas of your family’s diet that could be easily improved upon. The price is $12.97 for the 80-paged e-book, and includes a “super-guide” newsletter, and free access to updates and special sale offers for the natural items she sells on her website.
