Homeschool Library Builder (website)

Books, books, I love books! I can never get enough. And, I never, ever pay full price. I try to get most of our books from the library, but there are some titles that need a permanent place on my shelf. Such as Charlotte’s Web, The Chronicles of Narnia, The LOTR trilogy, and some Shakespeare. So, where can I go to get the best prices on the books I need? Here’s a resource that will help you and I build our homeschool libraries, and at bargain prices! The site was started by 2 homeschool moms whose love for books expanded to fulfill a desire to equip other homeschooling parents with good books. They stock many of the suggested books in popular curricula (like Sonlight, Five in a Row and others). If they are out of stock of a book you are browsing for, they will even do a search for it. That is awesome customer service!

The Homeschool Library Builder site is easy to navigate. Their home page shouts their great big bin blow out sale – with huge selection in their “bins” ranging from as low as a dollar up to five dollars. For instance I found A Gathering of Days, Across Five Aprils, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of Green Gables, all on the first page of the dollar bin, and there were nine more pages in that bin to browse through! You can also search for books according to category, such as activity books, biographies, historical fiction, science, and curriculum. They also offer a 30-day guarantee on your purchases. Since I always am interested in how much shipping is, I noted that a purchase up to $25 is charged a media rate of $4.50, which seems very reasonable to me. This looks like a great site, and if you are shopping for books (Christmas is coming!) be sure to stop over to the Homeschool Library Builder, and stock up on those bargains!
