Girl in the Arena Day two

Yesterday I reviewed Girl in the Arena by Lise Haines. The book explores what society might be like if there were modern day gladiators. The whole idea of “fighting to the death” is appalling to me, yet there was a day and a time where this was an accepted sport. I’m glad it’s now part of history.
