Carnival of Homeschooling – Memorial Day

The carnival is hosted this week by Why Homeschool with a Memorial Day theme.

Each year the United States has a federal holiday known as Memorial Day. The holiday was originally created as a time to remember the death of thousands who died in the United States Civil War. For the first couple decades it was called Decoration Day. After World War I Memorial Day was changed to honor those Americans who died fighting in any war.
